The terms and conditions noted
here do not adversely affect your statutory rights,
but they do form a
part of your contract with us when you book with Jump 4 Joy.
Please read them carefully. If
you proceed to make a booking with Jump 4 Joy, you are deemed to be in agreement with these terms and
conditions.
It is the responsibility of the "Hirer" (Customer) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injuryto any persons using the equipment and also make them aware that they use the equipment at their ownrisk.
Active Inflatables T/A Jump4Joy take no responsibility for any injury caused to any person whilst
using the equipment.
The safe keeping of the equipment remains the responsibility of the Hirer until it iscollected and the Hirer is liable for any damage or loss of equipment whilst in their possession.
Below are a list of safety instructions that the Hirer and users of theequipment must follow
1. Responsibility for supervising the equipment being hired rests with the Hirer and must be done so by anadult. The equipment must be supervised at all times whilst in use.
2. Safety information displayed on the equipment must be adhered to, including maximum user height andnumber of users restrictions.
3. Ensure that users are of similar height. Do no mix large users with small users.
4. No Shoes, toys or sharp objects or animals are permitted on the equipment. It is also recommended thatglasses are removed.
5. Play Sand, Party Poppers, Colored streamers, silly string or any sort of confetti should not be used on ornear the equipment as it can permanently stain the equipment. A fee will be applied if this occurs.
6. No food or drink to be allowed on the equipment.
7. Under no Circumstances should any users be on the inflatable while it is inflating or deflating.
8. Users are not permitted if they are under the influence of either alcohol or illegal drugs.
9. The equipment must be deflated immediately if wind speed reach 30km/h (Beaufort Scale 5) and mustremain deflated until winds have decreased below this speed.
10. A cleaning charge will be applied if the equipment has been dirtied due to mistreatment.
11. If the equipment is fitted with a step to aid the entrance and exit of users, this must not be used forbouncing or playing on.
12. Under no circumstances must the equipment be interfered with or moved.
13. On slides, Children must sit and slide feet first (no jumping). Users must not hold hands when slidingwith other users.
14. Somersaults are not permitted on the equipment.
15. Users must not climb on any walls or parts of the equipment off the standard bouncing area.
16. Water should not be added to the equipment intentionally (except for the water slide) or this is classedas mistreatment. If the equipment becomes wet, please allow to dry before use.
17. In the unlikely event of the equipment malfunction, you must not use the equipment and you mustcontact us straight away. Refunds will not be given for malfunctioning equipment unless the malfunctionis reported immediately.
18. Safe keeping of the equipment is the responsibility of the hirer from point of delivery, until collection hastaken place. The hirer will be liable for any damage or loss to the equipment during this period.
Below is General Booking Information/Terms & Conditions. It is very important that you read and understand thisinformation, as failure to do so may result in you, “the Hirer”, Liable for any damages/extra charges and “thesupplier” (us), not be able to carry out the booking. This may result in full payment or additional charges beenautomatically applied to your card with/without your booking proceeding. Please Read all the information belowand if you have any questions, please email us for clarification.
1) We reserve the right to refuse delivery at all times, for the safety of our staff and/or equipment.
2) Deposits/Payments are non-refundable under any circumstance.
3) Outstanding balances must be paid prior to/on delivery via Cash or Card
4) Bookings can be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. This can be done free of charge up to 12pm onthe Tuesday before your booking. In this case, we will hold your deposit and you can rebook again anytime upto 31st August 2025 (subject to availability). Cancellations after this point and up to 24hrs before delivery (usuallyeither Thurs/Fri) will be charged at initial deposit rate of 30% of the hire rate. When this occurs the remainingbalance (if any) will be held and can be used on another booking up-to 31st August 2025. If cancellation is within24hrs of delivery, the full hire rate will be charged. In this case, these changes will automatically be taken fromthe card provided at the time of booking.
5)Please ensure that the delivery area you selected at the time of booking is correct. (You must be within 5km ofthis area - you’re booking maybe cancelled and deposit lost or additional fee's added, if this is not the case).
6) Please ensure all contact details provided are correct and you will be available to be contacted regradingdelivery/collection. If we cannot contact you, and unable to make your delivery/collection, additional charges forwaiting and/or returning will be applied. Where this is not possible, the full hire rate will be applied even if deliveryhasn't been possible.
7) Deliveries are most likely to take place from 6am on Thursday/Friday and collections from 6am onMonday/Tuesday where your booking is for the weekend (Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun & Fri/Sat/Sun). Specific deliverydays/times are not available, and deliveries can only be done when our delivery team is in the area. You will benotified the evening before delivery of your delivery slot the next day. For delivery/collection to take place we willneed access to the area where instillation is required and access to a working power source so the inflatable canbe inflated. We would prefer someone to be present at the point of delivery, but this is not always necessary.
8) In rear circumstances delivery may take place on the first day of your booking. In this case delivery can be upto 12noon on that morning.
9) Collection will most likely take place the 1/2days after your final booking day. Collections can begin from 6amand we will need to be able to access the equipment. We will send you a text the day before notifying you ofcollection the following day.
10)We require access to a sufficient power source. We will provide our own extension reels that can extend up to40m and these must be plugged directly into a power outlet and not another extension reel/double adaptor. Inmany cases we will require two power outlets (1 per fan - for most obstacle courses 2 fans are required).
11) In all circumstances the access route/ area in which the inflatable is to be installed must have the following-Access pathway must be clear of obstruction (cars, kids toys, wheelie bins etc) and a minimum widthof 1.2m (This must not be through a building. For narrower access routes please email us details and we willconfirm if possible)- Have no more than 3 steps up/ down or in incline/decline of no more that 1m height. (We must benotified where this is not the case, and it must be agreed that delivery can take place. Additional charges mayapply)-The installation area is to be of real grass and have sufficient cover not to allow muck/clay to beexposed (i.e., freshly sown lawns). Artificial Grass, or any type of hard surface is not permitted.-Be sufficient in size to allow for the minimum area required (NOT UNIT SIZE) for the unit hired.(Please refer to the specifications table for your unit on our website)- Be free from any obstacles/ obstructions (Kids toys, Swings, Slides, Trampolines, Tree's/overhangingbranches etc.)- Be free from any animal foul. (Where this is not the case, we WILL ask you to remove it, or mayrefuse delivery and the full hire fee is still liable)- Be within 40m of a power source.- The installation area must not have a slope of more than 5% in any direction.- We reserve the right in install the equipment where we feel is best suited.- Robotic Lawnmowers must be disabled prior to delivery until after collection. The hirer is liable for anydamaged caused by Robotic Lawnmowers.- Pets must be restrained during delivery/collection process. We cannot accept any responsibility forloose pets during the delivery/Collection process.
12) Whilst our staff will always take the upmost care, we cannot be held liable for any damage caused to propertyduring the delivery/collection.
13) We reserve the right to be able to replace the product ordered with a similar product in the unlikely event thatthe product initially ordered is not available for hire.
14) By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you are permitting Active Inflatables T/A Jump 4 Joy to process anyadditional charges that may be required to the card provided at the time of booking.
Whilst every effort will be made by the supplier (Active Inflatables Ltd T/A Jump 4 Joy) to operate underthe information advised above, we cannot be held liable for any loss occurring to the Hirer fromsituations outside of our control.
We respect your rights under the
GDPR and common decency with regard to privacy. Rest assured that we do
not share your data with third parties beyond what is necessary to
provide you with your required services.
We understand the
concerns that visitors to our website may have in relation to privacy
and security. While cookies are used on this site in order to provide
enhanced function of the site for our visitors we do not track personal
data or retain personal information that is not freely offered.
We may retain contact details in the case of persons who
choose to contact us, but this is primarily so that we may respond to
that contact as required. In addition, we may also at a point in the
future use contact details to distribute news or special offer details.
We will not sell or, exchange or otherwise pass contact details to a third party outside of this group.
If you have any concerns in relation to these matters of
privacy, please contact us directly and we will be happy to address your
concerns.
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system utilised and other similar information.
Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
